     Series

No, I'm not going to talk about Dexter or Dr. House. I'm going to say a few words about the different series you can now see on the site. One of these is the already known Compendium of Dangerous Activities (which, so far, only has two strips, but will have new things soon) and the new Illustrated Fictions.

Now, even though I'm just presenting this new series, the truth is there are two precedents to the latest strip. One is too old to be considered part of the group, especially because it was conceived just as a joke; not so much the other one (already edited to show its inclusion in the series). When I drew the strip about The Raven, I really enjoyed the idea of making a strip which wasn't so dependant on a punchline, but that could bear some sort of "literary message", which drove me to want to repeat the experience. When the strip about "Premature Burial" was conceived, it was clear that there had to be a series. As a little side note: not all the strips covered in Illustrated Fictions are going to be about literature; they will also refer to films, other comics and, who knows, maybe even paintings and any other form of artistic expression. Needless to say, I fully recommend the reading of any piece mentioned this way.

Anyway, that's something I needed to share with you. See you in a few days. Stay alert, for there are new things coming.
