What the latest strip says is completely true: I loved Avatar. I know many didn't like it; I've read bad criticism about the plot, the Na'vi, the ending, the 3D effects... but that didn't prevent me from actually liking it.

I must admit that it's the first time I see a 3D film, so I have no reference there, but I still liked the effects very much. The plot is a bit "Disneyish" but, to be honest, I think it works just fine. It's true that it is a bit predictable, but I find that that is not really a grave issue in Avatar. There are other things about the plot and the film itself that drove me to like it. In fact, I watched it with my brother-in-law, and I'm planning to take my wife to watch it now, for she's never watched a 3D film either. I don't want this to turn into a film review, so I won't go into the subject any further, but I surely recommend watching Avatar, especially at the cinema.

On a different matter, I've edited the post about the Stick Ninjas t-shirts to reflect the fact that I'm now able to send t-shirts anywhere. It only takes sending an e-mail to order one.
