First of all, here you have the link to
the latest strip.
Now, I know you guys can't see many of the changes that are taking place in the site. That's because they are not definitive and are going through some little changes, and so they are being carried out in
the Spanish version of the site. Whenever they are ready, they will be applied in this part as well. You might want to take a look, even though you don't speak Spanish, so as to see what we are doing.
The most important things that have been added are the "latest strip" feature and the brand new
Stick Ninjas forum (which can be accessed by means of the Forum button, present in this part of the site as well). The important thing is that this improves my communication with you and it helps build in reader communication.
Regarding other changes, I mean to add an RSS message for each strip I upload (and not just news posts). That, with the addition of the 'Latest strip' thing (and the fact that I'll tell via Facebook and forum whenever I upload a strip), you can see whether there's a new strip or not with just a quick glance. This might be a silly thing to say, but I feel that my original plan of telling you about strip updates has two problems. First, my original idea of using the News section as a sort of blog didn't go according to plan. Sometimes I have nothing to say and the news update ends up being something along the lines of "Hi, there's a new strip (link), bye". Second, sometimes I get to do several strips in a row and this not having anything to say prevents me from uploading them as planned and I end up delaying each update just because I have nothing to say in the News section. This way, whenever I have a strip, I can just upload it and be done with it. This means that the news will be posted less frequently (when I do have something to discuss or whenever there are important news regarding the site), but I can live with that.
Anyway, there are more things to come. They will do so little by little. Bear with me if a strip gets delayed during these weeks, but these changes do take time and I have lots of things to do.
So, I'll be seeing you. Do come to the forum and say 'hi'.
